Latest Console Collection Modding Update 9/26

Goal

“The idea is to have the ability to play more or less any game ever released, usually on the original hardware with the original peripherals.”

PS1 - XStation hard mod and Memcard - can load any PS1 game onto the SD card although it doesn’t have space for all games at once
PS2 - Internal 6TB hard drive and CFW and memcard - full games collection accessible
PS4 - Softmod hack that needs to be refreshed whenever console is switched off, so I keep it in hibernate mode - can FTP upload any PS4 package onto console remotely
Neo Geo CD - Unknown CFW hardmod.. full games collection accessible
Sega Megadrive and Sega Mastersystem - Full games collection for both accessible via soft-mod Everdrive
Super Nintendo - Full games collection accessible via soft-mod Everdrive
Nintendo N64 - Full games collection accessible via soft-mod Everdrive
Nintendo Switch 1 - CFW installed.. games can be remotely uploaded via FTP.. card doesn’t have space for all games at once
Nintendo Wii U - CFW installed - full games collection available on external hard drive
TG16 - Full TG16 game collection available on SD card on PC Engine Duo via Everdrive
PSP Vita - Full game collection available via NoPaystation remote download
Nintendo DSi XL - Full DS and DSi game collection available on SD card

PS3 - haven’t fully explored options, but is easily hackable
Nintendo Gamecube - need to install solderless FlippyDrive
XBOX Original - need to install CFW, take it apart and install much bigger HD full of games
NES Original - needs Everdrive

PSP - need to fix screen issue..
PC Engine Duo - need to enable access to all PCFX games via the existing Everdrive or a new one, and enable bluetooth controller adaptor

Sega Saturn
Neo Geo AES - buying the new version, have paid for it, but delivery date isn’t until November 2027

Xbox 360 - will just use emulation.. modding is not worth it
All arcade systems - will just use MAME/light guns/arcade sticks
All consoles without exclusives available on other systems or going to be made available.. for example Xbox One, PS5 - will just use PC releases when they come available
